  The Pearl Session Studio Classic Series has an extremely open, resonant tone, thanks to the 6-ply combo of birch and kapur wood. These drums take classic Pearl design philosophy and put a modern spin on it, with 45-degree bearing edges and hybrid shell designs that add new sounds and musical options!

  OptiMount tom mounting makes the sound open and clear, thanks to the low friction between hardware and shell, and the SuperHoop II hoops don’t choke the tone at all – every note you play will be as resonant as it can be! This gives you a ton of control over your tone overall.
